After purchasing your ESET NOD32 CD, it is important that you register the software in order to receive a valid username and password. Although the CD will allow the installation of ESET NOD32 on your computer, you will not be able to receive virus signature updates without the username and password properly entered into the License Details window (Update ? Username and Password setup...).
The power of the ESET NOD32 Antivirus system lies in its ability to protect you from the latest threats. In order for the software to function as designed, the virus signature database must be updated regularly so that your computer will be fully protected.
To register ESET NOD32 and receive a valid username and password, navigate to the Activation Page on our web site. Fields with a red asterisk are required, and it is especially important that the E-mail address and Serial Number fields are filled out correctly to ensure that the license is registered and sent to the correct email address. The serial number is case sensitive and the dash is necessary. Also, there should be no extra spaces.
NOTE: If you are a partner or technical support person who is installing for a customer, we require that the CD is registered under the customer's name and email address. If you would like the username and password to be sent to you as well, you can input your email address with the customer's, separated by a semicolon. This is done so that when/if a customer (or you) contacts us regarding a lost license, we will be able to verify the ownership of that particular license.
