The ESET Smart Security Antivirus and antispyware module allows you to restrict access to specific websites or entire domains. To block websites, follow the steps below:
- Open the main program window by clicking the icon
next to the system clock or by clicking Start → All Programs → Eset → ESET Smart Security. - Switch to Advanced Mode by clicking Toggle Advanced mode in the lower left corner of the main window. In the left column, click Setup → Antivirus and antispyware.
- In the Web access protection section, click Configure... .
Fig. 1-1 - The Advanced Setup window will appear. Below the Web access protection heading in the left-hand menu tree, click the '+' next to HTTP, HTTPS, to expand the menu tree, and then click Address management.
- Select List of blocked addresses/masks from the drop-down menu. Deselect Allow access only to http addresses in the list of allowed addresses.
- Click Add... and type the web address(es) of the site(s) you wish to block.

NOTE: The wildcards '*' and '?' may also be used. For example, if you wanted to block all addresses from nk01.warshare.com to nk98.warshare.net, you would enter: 'nk??.warshare.*'
